Next time yr there, walk 400 yards north on Lakewood Blvd., stop into the Flite Room, and have a couple V-T's for me. Then walk out, blinking into the sunlight, cross Lakewood up Carson about 50 yards, and get in on some schooner action at the Thirsty Isle. Then walk outside again, head north a yard or three, look at the corner with the Subway, and imagine that used to house a porno theater that would show art films on weekends. That's totally the home turf of me, E. Neel, Jeff Whalen, and all kinds of terrible people....
